In 2021 we celebrated Ca' Viola Azienda Agricola's 30th anniversary with the launch of a brand new wine, the result of many years of study of whites by Giuseppe Caviola. It is a Langhe Chardonnay and is called filoSofia. The name encapsulates Beppe Caviola's philosophy and thinking about wine, terroir, production and ambition to create a fantastic white wine. The name also includes 'Sofia', daughter of Beppe and Simonetta, to whom this wine is dedicated.

Langhe Nebbiolo changes name and dress. With the 2021 vintage, now in its 15th year, and for the vintages to follow, our Langhe Nebbiolo will be called Rangone and will carry a special artwork on the label signed by Gianni Gallo. The name Rangone has ancient roots and comes from the Counts Rangone of Montelupo Albese, our homeland, where most of our vineyards are cultivated today.

For the second time, after the now distant '06 vintage, we found ourselves able to realize another dream, to produce our first "reserve". A small number of bottles born from a selection of few rows where the quality of the grapes is the highest. For a total of 7 years, the wine first rests in large oak barrels and ceramic amphorae, then in the bottle. The signature label bears, as is tradition, Gianni Gallo's signature.
